hey guys i just bought a 2008 civic ex sedan and i was just wondering if i can change the stock head unit.
the reason i wanna do this is cuz the stock 1 sounds like shit and i wanna upgrade the whole thing and if anybody done this without issues cuz i want my controlers 2 work on the steering wheel as the stock 1 do
any input would be great

You can install a din or double din deck with a dash kit for that civic. The dashkit is $50-80.00. Then depending if the deck you buy and the options it has alow for stearing wheel control input. Then you will also need a stearing wheel control interface around $90.00..

So depending on the deck and its options like bluetooth, i-pod, dvd, back up cam. Price of install and parts may vary.

I would seggest looking around for what best fits you. If you plan on doing all new speakers then I would get a nice deck with good eq settings, and or amp the speakers with a 4ch amp.. but a deck and a new set of speakers front and rear is a good start to good sound.
