you can but not necessary if you loop the hoses on the rack. its not as responsive, but if he opts to swap an EF rack in it will be more responsive with a quaife quick rack.
serious? i didnt now this so wat u mean loop the hoses on the rack?

About "looping" the rack, if you look at the picture of my engine bay, right in front of the brake master cylinder is a little fluid resivour, ideally you want to loop the lines but have a breather line (i guess you could call it that) that goes to a resivour like mine, and fill it with PS fluid, this way your PS rack can maintain proper lubrication, while being able to let out pressure build up when turning.

This is the best set up IMHO, you get the quicker lock to lock ratio of the PS rack, while having the nice feedback of having a non PS rack.

If the motor is out now would be the time to do this stuff, I can't remember what the fitting sizes were on the rack, but you can put some AN fittings on it so you can run hoses easily

The pressure is released up into the resivour, no air becomes trapped in the lines because it gets released.

you should get rid of the abs. and do something simple like this.

cleans up nice, but keeps it simple. for the power steering your either going to have to loop the hoses on the rack or switch to an EF (88-91 civic) rack with some modifications.

looks like my DA simple but still clean, i dont have anything except for fuse box, radiator res. was relocated along with battery no ac no ps half size radiator(turbo) and thats it
