I have a 2000 Honda Civic SI. What king of spark plugs should I buy? I always use the NGK br6es in my dsm's gapped at .28, and they seem to really like those. But I'm not sure what brand to buy or what to gap them for the b16. lmk

If you are all stock on a stock ecu just buy the stock NGK ones that autozone or checkers sales and gap them at .047-.051. They came stock with some expensive bastards but they should last you 75k plus miles PFR6L-13.

Okay so just to double check, NGK bkr7e gapped at .47-.51, or pfr6l-13 gapped at the same i'm assuming?

Not on a stock setup you would run a BKR6E-11 The BKR7E is one step colder. Your car will run on the 7's but not as good as it would with the stock temp plugs. If you were tuned though you were most likely tuned on 7's

Okay I'll put the 6's in and see how it likes it. do the bkr6e have to be gapped any different since they are warmer plugs?

the 11 on the end of the plug means they come pre-gapped at .044 but I would open them up to .051 if it were me.
