I have gotten use to the weight of a firearm over the years and decided that I better make
it legal and get the CCW licence..hehe....anyone else here an LEO or carry for defense?

I have always been of the opinion that its better to have one and not need it, than to
need it and not have one.....especially lately with all the punk ass gang bangers moving
here from out of state thinking they own shit ..... *laughs hysterically* ......

Anyway....my home is more than adequately defended.. ..

I have and will always have a soft spot for any and all AK type rifle......they are not
the most accurate weapon out there but they do what they were intended to do VERY well.

My next purchase will probably be another 45...Im addicted.

Dont have my CCW and dont know if I would want the responsibilitys that come along with one, but I have guns.   When I get a minute ill have to get some pictures up.  I do have a question for you SIred91.  Hows that Taurus revolver treating you?  Any problems?  How many rounds have you put through it?  I would like to buy one, but it seems like every review I read on them just talks about how shitty they are.  Your opinion?

I was born and raised with guns, coming from a southern family.

With me in UT:
Springfield XD-9 - with me up here in Utah to use for target practice

Back in TX:
Springfield 1911 Loaded - I never shot it much. It was a graduation present so I keep it pretty
Winchester Model 70 30-06 - My deer hunting rifle.  Fantastic gun.
.22 Bolt-action - It's about 60 years old and I dunno what model it is but it sure is fun to shoot
Savage .270 - My varmint rifle of choice.  Used it back home to hunt coyotes.

Eventually I want to get my CCW and buy a Colt Defender for my carry piece but I'm spending so much monies on my car and school that I don't have the disposable income for it yet.

Wow, I have NEVER heard or read anything bad about Taurus revolvers, some good and bad about their autos, but I would put their revolvers up against any other any day....I have owned 5 over the years and run a lot of ammo through them and never had an issue.
