This is a comprehensive guide to Honda/Acura seat compatibility and intro to seat pan swapping. This information is the result of 12+ yrs of Honda service and ownership. I created this guide to benifit others while prevent these notes from becoming lost in my mess forever. By using the information contained in this article YOU are assuming full responsibility for any mods to your vehicle and or related safety equipment. I will continue to expand onto this list as the information becomes available. This chart will list all compatible vehicles for a proven and tested BOLT-ON combination. All other options will fall under the "Seat Pan Swap" category. Now let's put those myths and rumors to rest...

Now for the remainder of seat possibilities you must perform a seat pan swap. Don't worry tho it's easy like Sunday morning...#1 thing to keep in mind is the longer it takes the better it looks. Let's get started...

What you need is:
Seats of Choice (Integra,S2k,RSX,EP3)
Needle Nose or hog ring pliers if you have em
Zip Ties
Razor
Socket Set
Patience

Take your needle nose and remove the rings holding the seat cover onto the pan on my Civic seat the backrest frame was held on by little metal rings... on the integra there was a zipper you need to grab witht he needle nose pliers  the location of the zipper head is pictured....

Here is the Civic seat with the Skin and cushion removed, here you can see how the Civic seat has the bracket coming out of the cushion..

Get your razor and cut a hole where the seat bracket has to come out (guesstimated it). Also do not remove the rings from the cushion... it creates slack in the fabric if you dont fasten it back down correctly and the foam then holds it in place is fragile...

Comparing the backrest frames and seat pans, very similar...

EP3, RSX, S2K and any others with fixed headrests must use that specific back. After separating cushions from pans unbolt the lower pan from the back and substitute it for your stock one.

After putting the cushion on the the seat pan secure the the skin with zip ties or hog rings where applicable...

Typical flaws..

Notice how the head rest are the same and the Integra slide/lock fits perfect...

Bolted down...

Some ending results...
