My car was just stolen like 15 minutes ago. In salt lake at brewvies. Doors locked in everything. Although I did have a quick release steering wheel which I really wish I would have taken with me now. This f*ckin sucks. I'm pissed. Nuff said.

My one, my only 97 civic. She was my baby. I turned every wrench myself. All the countless late nights. The thousands of dollars. Down the drain because some piece of shit, lazy asshole decided to steal someone elses pride and joy. I didn't have full coverage on it, so I won't get money back. The funniest part is... as my car was being stolen, I was telling my friends how I would never be able to sell her. I have to many memories. Irony. I hope the fucking timing belt snaps.

The shitty part is when I called the cops no one even showed up. He just took a discription of the car over the phone and said 'usually these honda's will show back up within a few days, gutted out and sitting in some abondoned area'

Yup. And the insurance company said they'd give me SOME money back on anything I have a receipt for. Hell yes! Still never gonna see all the money I put into her but anything is better than the nothing I originally thought. |

Well the car has officially been found. A cop in west jordan found it on the side of the road i guess. Not sure on the specifics but he said the motor is gone, my wheels are gone and the steering column is missing/trashed. I'm gonna go check it out today myself and maybe get some pics and talking brody into posting them for me.

The thing I don't understand is why they took my autolite battery but put a dura last in its place. haha and then they took my deck but it was like aa cheap ass one from walmart. And then they left the ctr headlights. Real ctr lights. Brand new. From a dealer in japan. So I hope my insuance let's me take those! They were a little pricey.

On a lighter note, I don't think there's anyone on here that doesn't like GC Imprezas. My buddy has a '98 RS coupe [the only years that came DOHC, btw] and it's a GREAT car. I almost bought an RS before I got the Jetta, and I'm kind of kicking myself for it now.

Thats funny you say that. Mine they stole the ebay suspension and replaced it with a diferent ebay set up. Then they took my amber corners and replaced them with clear ones. and they put a pile of tan interior stuff inside, like doors panels etc. but left all my interior untouched. except for my stereo, which the radio didn't work, the display didn't work, and the cd that was in it was stuck haha. they stole the konig heliums that i had but the tires were so bald cords were showing threw haha. stupid theives. |

The insurance company is supposed to call me back on friday or something and i'm gonna ask if i can take the headlights. When my friend wrecked his teg they let him take certain things offf as long as he replaced them with something else (i.e. stock parts) so if i can that'd be killer. They were only like a few months old! So if I can i'll for sure let you know. |
