If you have a banner or anything you make up for it Steve get me a copy and i'll post it at the top of the site. I won't be missing this. And with how large the payouts are hopefully it will bring in alot of people from around the country just like the englishtown race did last year.

Thanks guys! This event should go well. To answer some of your questions. Teknik. That would be awesome for you to help advertise. Especially here on the forums would do great for us. Ron Craft will post up on there website and we will have flyers out soon. Ish! I tried to see if we can hold a SFWD or even an outlaw Allmotor class for Franky and the westcoast boys. But Ron says he can only reserve 25 pit spots for us. RMR as you know is now an IHRA track. Whick means yes they are gonna pave alot of asphalt for lot more pit parking. So no more bs gravel pitting on these big 2 day event. So they barely have room for us this year. If this goes well than next year we might be able to piggyback with Boti since there is talks of them coming next year. I have alot of media coming including Ben Howard from Honda-tuning, NYCE from New York, and Chris Wold from tunerzine. And D-sport in the works. Alot of big sponsors i have yet to release, that i am in the process of working on which is a 99.9 percent done deal. I have a meeting with RMR to sign things and put everything out on paper next week. Then i will start to release more bounties and sponsors. Everyone tell everyone let pack the house!! Show everyone the import scene aint dead. Geeze if we can get 3-5000 to support the midnights watching cars go 12-18 second et's. I know they would be interested in watching Sub 9 second cars, as i doubt anyone is gonna hit 8's at our alttitude. Man i have been working my ass off. So i hope and think this will be an awesome event! Thanks To Mfactory and Mr. Housley for helping me out on this. |

People flaked last year because Nopi cancelled the event so people didn't feel it was worth the drive for a back yard event. This is a big money race and these outlaw events are for the most part the future of sport compact drag racing. Those commited already to come will be here. That's why deposits are required. |

with the old event such as NHRA, NOPI, IDRC, BOTI, IFO, and CMI you wouldnt get ppl traveling more than a couple hundred miles to go to the event, due to the fact that it would cost more to travel,eat,hotel,etc. than first place would pay.
These Outlaw races bring in everyone around the country due to $10,000 for 1st place, and a shit load of contigencies and bounties. MFactory alone is paying out $7000 in bounties.

Ha the younger one! I don't know how many utah guys are comin out for the MFactory shootout but over on honda-tech.com those boys are tearin y'all apart for not signing up yet! Some serious call-outs going on over there. Sounds like we've only got 10 people signed up so far so if you're running a turbo FWD < 2300lbs get you butt in gear and sign up! But honestly just check out the bounties before you do, they might give you a little motivation! Ha ha Good luck to you all. And we've got two weeks of Street legal racing out at RMR tonight and next weekend so come out and get your testing done, ET style. ALSO MIDNIGHT DRAGS TONIGHT. And test and tune wed. Are you serious. Unless you own a 9 second car you have not room to talk. Are you aware that in order to stand a chance at winning this thing your car needs to be running low 9's. Hell tony was hitting high 8's last year at the e-town outlaw event. There's only 5 hondass from utah that I recall have ran 9's. That being cortneys, kyles, steves, bucks, and penmans. The first 3 cars will be at this event as they are the only 3 still around that stand a chance at winning. Tell me if you owned a car that ran say mid 10s would you throw down $800 to race in an event that more then likely you wouldn't even qualify for when racing cars running low 9s. Seriously shut up cause you have no room to talk. |

What part of the "most people won't sign up tell the event is here" don't you understand. There will most likely be a full field by the time the event comes around. People arnt going to drop $800 and then have there car break and be out that money. None of the utah guys have flaked cause none of them except steve have put in there deposits yet. Kyle said in this very thread that he will be there as long as his car doesn't break and cort said on ht that his car should be ready for it. I just stated the fact that steve, kyle, and cort will probably be the only 3 utah cars there cause they are the only 3 fast enough to stand a chance at winning. More none utah guys are backing out then the utah guys so once again unless your actually throwing down $800 and have your own car that's racing then you have no room to talk.

There are a lot of 10 second hondas around. But unless your running mid to low 9s you don't stand a chance at winning this thing. No one in there right mind would throw down $800 for a race they most likely wouldn't even qualify for. If this was a battle of the imports event or a former nhra sport compact race then I'm positive there would be a huge utah racer turnout. However this is an outlaw race that only the best of the best stand a chance at winning. And like I said only 3 utah hondas have made passes quick enough to win this thing. |

Ok gentlemen easy now. Let me give you all an update. I helped pull kyles trans this morning. The gears are fine and great. The quaife lsd was destroyed. Good new is, it was pretty old and they already have another one. Cort is just about ready, he wants to make sure the car runs first with no issues before he jumps in. If things go well he will dyno this week. We got a few from California putting in, and almost got Aaron from full race in as well. Yes we want to represent and show them how we do it here so good luck to all 3 poss. 4 of us. But it means alot more to me to make this successful and show rmr we still support. Then next year we might get BOTI locked in and maybe get a 2nd annual outlaw race. I really appreciate all of you showing support and i hope we pack these stands come July 31 and August 1st.  |

Ok gentlemen easy now. Let me give you all an update. I helped pull kyles trans this morning. The gears are fine and great. The quaife lsd was destroyed. Good new is, it was pretty old and they already have another one. Cort is just about ready, he wants to make sure the car runs first with no issues before he jumps in. If things go well he will dyno this week. We got a few from California putting in, and almost got Aaron from full race in as well. Yes we want to represent and show them how we do it here so good luck to all 3 poss. 4 of us. But it means alot more to me to make this successful and show rmr we still support. Then next year we might get BOTI locked in and maybe get a 2nd annual outlaw race. I really appreciate all of you showing support and i hope we pack these stands come July 31 and August 1st. NIce to here that cant wait till this event happens. |

yup, just got to pray for a quick turn around on an axle that also got destroyed..
bad news is i wont be running 26"s unfortionately. I've brok 4th gear, a quaife, 2 DSS 5.9 axles, and 2 trans cases, in 8runs.
good news, im still keeping cluctchless shifting, and using a spool so hoping to put as much power to the ground as possible.

Schedule Friday is like a normal day. Gates open at 3-4. First qual. is 6:30 2nd is 9:30. Saturday #rd qual. is around noon. Eliminations are at 5pm and go on.
Attention Ron Craft advised me they have 12-14 slots togther reserved for outlaw shootout cars only! If you plan on racing the other class, you cannot pit and park in those reserved spots. Ron and Joe will have the roster and will double check. Please dont make this a problem, i kissed alot of ass for them to not throw us in the gravel like they always do on big 2 day summit events. This was not my idea.
Miller is out because of a tissy fit with another racer. But we got the redsled Vanatten (9.1 second srt-4) On his way from the east coast as we speak. If i can get 12 cars show up, i'll be happy, i'll still have deposits from 4 others so payouts will be great still.

Lol I can promise you no one will be running 8's at this altitude in a sportsman style fwd car. Tony barely broke into the 8s in e-town last year and that's near sea level. We may see some low 9s but no 8s. |

Qualifying was fun to watch. I only got to see the last one of the night, but still it was fun. On that last run Cort was bookin it, +120mph by half track! Said it's the fastest he's ever seen at the half track mark. Had pics and vid, but i forgot my camera in my gf's car wheni left this morning. I'll post em up later.
Tonight should be interesting for sure! Hope to see all of you out there..

LMAO. Once again he ran that at sea level last year. Please tell me how the hell he is suppose to do that with a corrected alitude of over 7500ft? Do the math and its near impossible for that to be ran here. Ask any racer there including tony himself and they will tell you that it won't happen at this altitude. Cars don't breath as well up here. Its harder for the to build boost to make the power they make at sea level to run the time that you think will be ran. Think all you want you want but your not going to see a 8 second pass tonight. |

the event had to be worked out around rmrs schedule (pros were running, mf factory shooout was just squeezed in there)..... besides that i think its good to give a couple of hours between rounds in case someone breaks, gives you time to get your car together for next round, thats just me though. i dont have a good camera but heres a vid of the finals:

Tony wouldn't have won the event if it wasn't for UTAHS own MR.GREEN(runsnines)!!! Tonys starter took a shit and needed to be replaced, right after Tony and Cort ran. So Cort tore out his starter and ran it to Tonys pit so they can change it out. If you cant start your car you cant win a race.........lol |

you mean tonys starter took a shit right BEFORE cort and tony raced..... they had to push start tonys car right before the burnout box, cort was a good sportsman and didnt protest and gave him his starter after the race even. |
