Stolen B18c1.. maybe 92 hatch..

So i dont know how to say this or where i should post this so i guess ill start here...

About 2 months ago i baught a 92 honda civic that is civic si blue..
the guy wanted originally i believe $2500.

I went to see the civic and it was nice as i though it would be, cash in hand i could have paid the 2500
as he wanted but i like to talk people down who dont.. The car has a motor swap in it and its a b18c1.. has a red valve color. like a type R..
 On the block it says b18c1.. Well the car has a half rad del sol rad on it and it looks like it had been turbo'd ..

I kept asking him if it had and he told me no. I asked him the history  he said that he would go out and race it.. He took the rims off it that had been on the original pic. and when i looked under it it had no muffler. I asked to start it and he said that i could and go drive..

I took it for a drive and it ran really good. really loud though..

long story short.. I just went to go and work on it after bringing it home and i just looked at the motor and trans more close ..
They both dont have a VIN and have been torn off.

I did not know this before i purchased.. I just did.. I have had the car for a month now and have not registered it in my name yet. As people know i work as a truck driver and am never home... What should i do? im thinkin of calling the cops and have them come look at it. Im in layton now and the title is in ogden..

Advise please and keep it on topic..If your just going to run your mouth fuck off and dont even say anything. Im asking what i should do as per i dont
do business with theifs.

you all ready buy the car anyways... but i think just get the engine check or something because, i dont think u are going to see your money again but who knows.

I just looked again and the block has the serial number on it still but the trans dont..

Cop just came and checked out the car.. He said there is no real way to check the vin or codes on the block.. He said that he can run a vin check though..

So he ran a check and the cars vin came up clear but came up white... the car has been painted civic si blue but before that was green/teal..

So he said that it was weird that the clor was different he said to follow up with the DMV cops and they can check the whole car and have more resources.. So yea...If anyone had had there car stolen and have there block code then hit me up PM and ill ceck an see if its theirs.

Maybe this is nothing but it just seems sketchy so makig sure its not stolen.

So do you have the vin # for where that engine and trans whent or..?
