Does anyone know if a bungie chord will work for a battery tie down to pass tech? I have never had my battery attached properly as it sits so securely without one.

I know in Cali a bungie doesn't work I had to use a ratchet strap, my guess would be the same for rmr

Is there a thread or site that has the things tech will look for? I have never taken a car to RMR, and I would hate to drive so far just to have to watch.lol

Just make sure your batt is secure, coolant overflow is there, that sort of thing. Lmk what you think may not pass and I'll tell you

My catch can vents to a hose that runs underneath the car...Never drips. Thats all I can think of other than the battery tie down.

I used a bungie once, they shook the battery and called it good. That was a few years back though.

That was probably during a midnight, correct? They are a bit more strict during normal drags.

Potter, try and run that to the intake tube. Or a catch can of some sort.

Potter, you'll probably want to fab a bracket before you head out there. I was in the same boat as you as my battery sits securly with out a bracket and last time I was at midnights they wouldnt let me race because I didnt have a bracket. I had to make one on spot and barely got it to pass tech inspection.
