Mazda3 Headlight Switch Shorting?
« on: June 13, 2012, 10:09:21 PM »
Hey everyone.  Tonight my wife accidentally spilled a Mug of water all over her dashboard and since doing this her Headlight Switch seems to be shorting.  The Brights will randomly turn on when driving down the road or when she turns on the turn signal.  Sometimes they won't turn back off without turning the headlights off and back on.

When she got home I let the car run for about 40 minutes with the heater on high to see if anything just needed to dry out.  Unfortunatly its still working all weird.

Do you guys think the problem is just regulated to the switch itself?  If so looks like i'll be ordering a new one and just unplug the high beam bulbs for now.
