welding help/ shop recommendations
« on: May 14, 2014, 05:07:00 PM »
Hey eveyone, I have a d16y8 block... I have sheered off the bold under the cam gear that goes to the motor mount on the drivers side.
Hoping that I could get some input on a shop that could weld a nut onto the snaped bolt body and hopefully turn it out...
Im in slc area and really dont want to swap out internals with anouther block just because of this bolt.
If anyome has any input on this please comment
Ive already tried to easy out the bold and its to tight for that application.
Please help

Have you tried using an extractor? I've had pretty good success with them in the past.
