Just picked up a 92 hatch. doesnt idle. but drives fine. the Head is a vtec  without the solenoid hooked up. Could that cause major problems?

so is your question whether having vtec hooked up or not will have major problems?
or
are you asking if thats why it has a bad idle?

Maybe a bad IACV? Does it start then die right away unless you keep your foot on the gas?
